Anastasia, the Musical at FVL

Inspired by the Twentieth Century Fox Motion Pictures by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical, from the play by Marcelle Maurette as adapted by Guy Bolton.
This dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
The musical will be presented on Friday and Saturday, March 3 & 4, at 6:30 PM and on Sunday, March 5 at 2:00 PM.
- Directed by Wendy Bixby
- Produced by Matthew Foxen
Lenten Schedule

The overall theme for the 2023 Lenten sermons is “His Final Steps.” The series ponders the significance
of the people and places on Jesus’ resolute final steps to the cross and three days later, his first steps
from the tomb. We will be remembering Christ’s passion in a series of midweek Lenten services starting on Ash Wednesday, February 22. The services will take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 and will feature a series of area pastors sharing God’s Word with us. The schedule of the services is below:

Spring Forward

On Saturday, March 11, please be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed. Yes, it is that time to begin daylight savings time. (I thought that they were going to be phasing that out, but no such luck.) If you don’t, you’ll be one hour late in getting to church that week. You don’t want to be “that guy,” do you?
